About the Artist

Daniel Angeles is a self-taught watercolor artist and storyteller whose work centers on emotional connection, healing, and hope. Known for his signature drips and delicate line work, Daniel approaches each piece as a visual narrative—one that holds space for love, loss, and the quiet resilience that follows both.

Belle and Her Missing Heart grew from a deeply personal place, inspired by a real little girl named Belle and shaped by Daniel’s belief that art can be a source of comfort during life’s most tender moments. Through Belle’s story, he seeks to create gentle experiences that help children—and the adults who read with them—feel seen, safe, and understood.

Daniel’s work has been shared in galleries across the country, but his greatest intention has always been to create art that feels human and heartfelt. Each story, illustration, and character is made with care, guided by the hope that even in times of loss, love finds a way to remain.
